Superabrasive has been manufacturing diamond tools since 1987, and offers products for the concrete, stone fabrication and optical industries, but the concrete division, under the LAVINA brand name, has quickly become our core business.
Our concrete products are used on projects large and small, from high-end residential jobs to large industrial plants, warehouses and big box retail stores. LAVINA machines can be used for floor grinding, floor leveling, removing mastics, epoxies and other coatings, as well as polishing and daily floor maintenance. Since the launch of the first LAVINA floor grinders in 2004, Superabrasive has updated the line with the Pro, S, and, most recently, the X series, which is loaded with new features for better productivity and efficiency on the job site. The Lavina X series includes both electric and propane models, ranging from 16-inch and 20-inch machines for small residential projects to the largest 38-inch remote-controlled grinders for big commercial projects, as well as two edger models, 7-inch and 13-inch, for working on edges and corners. The LAVINA vacuum line also includes a range of models with different size, CFM, lift and voltage options to suit any grinder and job size. Our diamond tools cover nearly any floor application – coating removal, grinding, polishing, maintenance, edge work, etc., suitable not only for concrete but also for terrazzo and natural stone surfaces. In fact, Superabrasive is the only company in the concrete industry manufacturing both the machines and the diamond tools itself.
