The new EdgeWise system offered by Superabrasive Inc. allows stone fabricators to use one system for most of their fabrication needs - slab sawing, edge profiling, sink opening cutouts and accurate seam edges. The system is so lightweight and portable it can be used either in a shop or taken to the jobsite and used by one person. The variable speed auto drive works in both directions. The auto drive feature allows the fabricator to set up the task and work elsewhere increasing productivity on the job. The auto drive feature also has an automatic shutdown switch which turns the machine off when the work is complete. The EdgeWise attachments are easy to change transforming the system from a rail saw into a milling machine. The EdgeWise system also features a Sink Machine which uses C and C generated templates that allow average shop workers to produce accurate sink openings. The grinder motor and spindle head assembly used for the milling system is easily removed and used in the Sink Machine keeping overall costs down. For its profiling application, the system is using specially designed Superabrasive router bits that can be used on any router system with a 22.2 mm attachment.
